ADDING VIDEO, SLIDESHOW & SOUNDCLOUD TO MY BLOG

I had to change the template to allow a sidebar.

The YouTube channel came out very small (and, of course, my YouTube channel is a mess theme and content-wise, but always, somehow media-oriented).

The Soundcloud came out very large, but I was able to reduce it in the HTML. (So proud of myself.) It took a little to figure out how to share embed it, but it turned out it was just the plane old social media share button.

The Slideshow had some problems. Wouldn't connect to my Flickr account even though Flickr is one of the options (it wouldn't recognize it), so I went with Picasa (but I don't use Picasa, so I just loaded a few random pictures into it.

My real blog has a sidebar loaded up with videos, a slideshow, etc., but the new look in blogs is just one "column" clean and simple, but I just can't bring myself to do that to my blog and miss out on "advertising" some other things to my readers.

  1. You did a great job with embedding your content! It makes me wish I used Blogger because I definitely cannot embed on my blog in Wordpress.

  2. Great job! You are the only person I've seen be able to do this correctly, I could't figure it out... And I had a terrible time trying to make a slideshow ha!
