YOUTUBE

Who doesn't love YouTube? I began dumping videos on YouTube in 2005. I say "dumping" because I was shooting home videos (trips, etc.) on my first generation Sony digital videocam and using YouTube as storage and sharing. But I never took the time to make a decent channel with a "header" photo, a little about me, links to my other social networks, etc. This exercise was a great opportunity to do that.

I have a lot of private videos (my exercise videos! choir practices!) on my channel. And I am now a member "not in good standing" for simply having privately uploaded some of my exercise vids! I get out of YouTube prison on July 4. (They suspend some of the functions/capabilities.)

I would love to really use my YouTube channel properly: with a focus and only the highest quality vids, BUT...I have so many other things going on in my life that this is falling by the wayside....

One of our Sisters who used to head up the video department of our publishing house in Boston (Pauline Books & Media), saw the handwriting on the wall back in 2005 and said: We should just create one awesome YouTube channel and focus on creating content for it (which didn't happen). If only we had listened! :)
