GROUP COLLABORATION VIDEOS

Some of my favorite group-made videos are below. For some reason, they are all musical. But we wouldn't have to sing WELL. That would be half the fun. Just check out the hockey players. We could use something similar to relay updated, real statistics and solutions to social media use (similar to Wesch's video with students holding up signs in class). Except it would be fun and not serious.

What if we did a video about Social Media in "Dr. Seuss"-ese?

What if we (like the kid in the movie "Chef" with his 1-second-video-a-day) did a RETROSPECTIVE of the whole class: one video "sliver" from each weekly videos, roughly mashed all together? Or "slivers" by subject?

1. Toronto Maple Leafs sing "Jingle Bell Rock": https://amp.twimg.com/v/354fd158-375c-4a89-a5be-d742d55a3b98

2. Virtual choirs (is there software for this?):

LUX AURUMQUE

PENTATONIX "RUN TO YOU"

CARMELITE CHOIR

3. "Website Story" parody done by College Humor is a medley of songs from "Westside Story," inserting/substituting different social media platforms. Everything from Pandora to E-vite.
